Teachers spend time one on one with students working on alignment and advancement. Students can stop, ask questions and find confidence in guiding themselves. Self practice is a great way to begin learning to quiet the mind and focus on breath. Come take ownership of your own practice.
ASHTANGA LED CLASS: (non-heated) Traditionally Ashtanga is a self-guided practice. Moving at your own pace, learning to quiet the mind and strengthen the body. Once a week the community comes together to be led by the teacher. Matching breath and movement, the class practices together as a cohesive unit. Our led class will take you thru the beginnings of the Primary series helping to memorize the sequence, learn postures and experience the pacing of the practice. Teachers will give cues to breath and movement with minimal instruction. For more in depth instruction, come to Mysore Class. The Ashtanga practice can become a moving meditation when the practice is memorized and the brain doesn’t have to anticipate what posture will be given next. Come experience Ashtanga and let your body and mind heal and strengthen.
