one whole year...and now a weekend off

Here we are. Its been an entire year since I have been in ownership of this studio. A crazy time to become a small business owner. What a ride.

Thank you to everyone- again and again. Everyone that has supported me and this space, that has shown up for classes in studio and on line. This community continues to astonish me with its generosity and love. Thank you all. You’ve made it possible. Im here, we’re here- because of you.

That being said, its due time for me to take a brief break. A weekend away from teaching to refresh, to sleep in, to do the things that people do when they’re not working. Its been pretty nonstop- which has been an honor, and also, I think my body/brain is nearing that place of exhaustion after a year.

SO. Studio will be closed/no classes Saturday April 24th & Sunday April 25th. Im going to treat myself to a weekend away. Somewhere where I get to take some yoga classes myself, and where I get to sit at a shitty bar and play some pool. Ill be a normal human in the world- Ill stay out too late, drink one too many gins…and find out quickly that maybe Im not as good at pool as I thought.

Again, thank you all. Get outside and Ill see you the following Monday. Ill be refreshed and happy to be back at it. I always miss the studio when Im not there- missing this place sure is a lovely feeling, lucky me.
